Community Ministries

Angel Tree Program

When your parent is in prison, so are you. Your heart is locked behind a wall of loneliness. Your future is bound by shame. Each year at Christmas families at CUMC deliver gifts to prisoners' children in their parents' name and share the Gospel. Children feel a parent's love, despite their absence. Shephard's Cupboard Food Pantry

The Bethany United Methodist of Enid sponsors a free grocery program for those in need on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CUMC supports this outreach ministry by collecting non-perishable food items each week during both of our worship services.

Volunteers in Mission

Over the last year, CUMC and other Enid District churches have participated in 2 mission trips to Monterey, Mexico and more trips are being planned. To learn more about this mission opportunity contact Jim Jones.

Circle of Care

Circle of Care is a not-for-profit agency with historic roots in the Oklahoma United Methodist Church. Our mission is to provide help, healing and wholeness to children, youth and families who are hurting or in need. CUMC is honored to support the "at promise" young people who live at the
Holsinger House.

Fall Pumpkin Patch

Every October, the lawn of CUMC is filled with pumpkins, gourds, hay, and colorful fall backdrops. And each year families all over Enid come to pick out that perfect pumpkin and enjoy the home-made goodies baked by the wonderful cooks of CUMC.

For many families snapping pictures in our fun, fall backgrounds is an annual event and extended family members travel from near and far just to get in on the fun.

And for many childcare centers and lower elementary classrooms, a trip to the Pumpkin Patch is an October highlight. The CUMC Patch encourages community organizations that work with young children to arrange a special time in the patch and we will provide stories, games, and 25 cent pumpkins to take home as a souvenir.

On a more serious note, the money raised from our annual pumpkin patch ensures that vital mission work across Oklahoma and around the world can continue, bringing the love of Jesus to those in need.
